Flossie's Grooming Room

I have loved animals all my life and when i first saw 'Candy floss' a beautiful Welsh Border Collie, we fell in love. 'Flossie' as we named her, had the most beautiful puppy coat. She had been returned by her previous owner due to an allergy in the family. Therefore she came to live with my husband and I. It became apparent very quickly that spending a short amount of time each day brushing her coat helped to keep it in great condition. As time went on I became more and more interested in learning about dog grooming and eventually it became my full time career. Up until recently I was the senior stylist in a busy dog grooming salon in the New Forest area. An integral part of my role was to teach the students who had enrolled. This involved passing on my knowledge, expertise and ethos so that they could hopefully go on to achieve their City & Guilds qualifications. I am now in a position to be able to offer my services on a one to one basis. I specialise in dealing with sensitive/challenging dogs and my aim is to expand my knowledge and expertise in this area.
